Why use this tool

Handles real-world CSV

Quoted commas, escaped quotes, CRLF line endings and a UTF-8 BOM are supported.

Custom delimiters

Use commas, semicolons or tabs for spreadsheets and regional formats.

Nested values stay intact

Objects and arrays inside a row are serialized as JSON instead of being lost.

Frequently asked questions

What JSON shape does the converter expect?
An array of objects, where each object becomes one CSV row. A single object is treated as a one-row table.
How are nested objects handled?
Nested objects and arrays are serialized as JSON strings inside the cell. Flatten them first if you need separate columns.
Why are numbers converted to strings in CSV?
CSV has no type system; every cell is text. When converting back, enable type inference to restore numbers and booleans.
Does it support semicolon-separated files?
Yes. Choose the semicolon or tab delimiter before converting, both for JSON to CSV and CSV to JSON.
Is my data uploaded?
No. Parsing and conversion happen in your browser, and nothing is sent to a server.
